I really wanted to like this place. People often recommended this to me when I told them I was into pastries. I was super excited to try, but to my dissapointment it tastes as if they use hydrogenated oil in place of butter. This is a big no-go for me. It makes it tase unhealthy, soulless, and sad, despite the desireable texture and appearance. If you find yourself here, it's almost just worth it to walk the mile up Ashby to Fournée. Bummer!
